Plaato Pro - Industrial Fermentation Sensor

Plaato Pro is a B2B fermentation sensor designed for professional breweries and production environments. It provides continuous, real-time insight into fermentation activity without manual sampling or process interruption.

The product serves as the hardware foundation of Plaato’s smart fermentation platform, enabling centralized monitoring across tanks, batches, and sites. Fermentation data is captured continuously and surfaced through dashboards, alerts, and historical analysis.

On top of the sensing layer, the platform applies data models and AI-driven analysis to identify fermentation patterns, detect anomalies, and support consistency and process optimization at scale. The software, analytics, and platform layer were developed by the Plaato team, complementing the hardware system.

To support industrial defensibility, a dedicated factory was established in Norway for assembly, calibration, and quality control. All units are assembled, calibrated, and validated locally to ensure repeatability, traceability, and long-term performance.

The project scope also included regulatory compliance and certification, covering CE marking, food-safety requirements, and relevant international standards for use in production environments.

Today, the platform supports 350+ breweries and distilleries across more than 35 countries, operating in daily production environments.
